Pull-ups and Pop-tarts Announcement

So far we have 13 teams registered for the throwdown! There are reams in every devision, and it looks like everyone will go on to compete in the finals! The men’s intermediate division only has 2 teams competing, so I guess that’s a 50% chance of winning! Pretty good odds if you ask me. Register your team by clicking here.

 

I know there are still some people looking to compete, but have been unable to find a partner to do it with. I’ve been doing my best to be matchmaker, but I’d ask all of you to help find partners for them. It’ll only make the competition more fun to have more teams competing, so help a brother out!

8 Min AMRAP:                   Scaled

30 Toes to Bar                     (Leg Raises to Parallel)

30 Wall Ball (20/14)          (15/10#)

60 Double Unders              120 Singles

-then-

8 Min to find combined complex max of Snatch + 2 Overhead Squat

 

-WODs are scored independently

-Leg raise to parallel (scaled division), judge will place hand at athletes hip height while hanging from the bar and athlete must hit hand with feet for rep to count

-No press out permitted on snatch; can be any form of snatch (ie. power, muscle)

-Work for 1st 8 min AMRAP can be split up any way athletes choose
